In the last more than 23 years that I have lived in Switzerland, the Aïd day was the day on which I missed my home town the most and on which I longed to be with my close friends and family. The first few years the solution was to buy a plane ticket and simply fly to where my family and friends were. This became more difficult when my own family got bigger and it has become almost impossible to have holidays on the Aïd for me, my wife and the kids. So I thought a long time before I have found the solution to this problem: Why not create my own Aïd-party in Bern where I work and live with my family? The first Aïd was in 2016 where we could gather more than 25 person of our best friends with their families. From then on it has become a tradition for our friends and families to meet at Aïd Al Adha in the region of Bern.
In order to guarantee a quality Event and make it the best experience for every one who may attend this event, we choose to make it invitation based only.
So if you did not get invited ever, or you did not know some one who can suggest your name to the Organizer staff of this event, we are sorry to let you know that you can not be part of it. thank you for your understanding!
